How They Help

How do your programs or services help the community?

Stonewall Columbus’s programs aim the serve the underserved LGBTQ community by offering support groups, events, programs, and classes geared specifically towards LGBTQ+ individuals. Stonewall also runs the annual Pride Parade, one of the biggest events of the annual Pride festival. 

 

Program Descriptions 

 

Support Groups 

Stonewall Columbus offers a wide variety of support groups. These groups include veterans support, women’s coming out group, men’s coming out group, non-binary peer support group, and transgender therapy group. They also offer support groups for prisoners and those who have just been released from prison.  

 

Classes 

Stonewall offers yoga and dance classes, as well as hiking and running clubs. 

 

Counseling Services

Stonewall offers individual, couples, family, and youth counseling at their location in the Short North. 

 

Resources

Stonewall also strives to provide a variety of community resources to their clients. In person and on the website, individuals can find resources for whatever they might need, from specified support groups to LGBTQ+ friendly businesses.
